(1926-1990)

Born in Jerusalem in 1926, and joined Betar at an early age. In 1941, aged 15, joined the Irgun.

When the Revolt was proclaimed in February 1944, joined the Fighting Force and took part in the first attack on the British Intelligence offices in the Russian Compound in Jerusalem (23 March 1944).

Was then sent on a commander course at Shuny (near Benyamina), and on graduating, became a platoon commander.

Took part in many military operations and, among other missions, commanded the blowing up of the King David Hotel.
